The Bible testifies God the Mother.

The Bible testifies God the Mother.

Abraham had two wives. Sarah and Hagar were. They had one son each. Ishmael was born from Hagar, and Isaac was born from his wife Sarah. Of these two sons, Isaac became an heir of Abraham but Ishmael was cast out. (Genesis 17: 18-19, 20:10) Abraham represents God the Father (Luke 16: 23-24). Thus, the story of heir of Abraham is a prophecy that tells us who will inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Galatians 4: 22-26

22. For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. 23. His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise.

24. These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

Paul said this is a parable for the progress of God's salvation. Hagar, the female servant, and Sarah, the free woman, are a parable. Hagar, a servant, means the Old Testament and represents Jerusalem in Israel. The Old Testament contains prophecies of God before the Savior Jesus came to earth.

The Old Testament serves the New Testament like Hagar served Sarah. The New Testament records when Jesus came to earth as a Savior. The New Testament contains what Jesus taught his disciples. This may think that is Jesus teaching us directly. It will be more important than the Old Testament for salvation people.

And

Sarah, a free woman, represents the Heavenly Jerusalem Mother. And God gave Sarah and Isaac eternal promise. Heavenly Jerusalem represented by Sarah is our Heavenly Mother who gives eternal salvation.

Since Abraham's wife Sarah is represented as 'Jerusalem in heaven', 'our mother' has the promise of God's salvation. Therefore She is our God the Mother. And then it is natural for Abraham to represent the Creator God the Father. (Luke 16:1-13).

Paul's explanation of Sarah and Hagar as a parable tells us that to be saved, we must be Sarah's children, not of Hagar.

Galatians 4: 28–31

28Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. 30But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” 31Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

Paul said that Isaac inherited Abraham's inheritance because he was a child of Sarah, a free woman.

In order to inherit God's inheritance, the bible says that we must be children of Sarah.

This means that Isaac had not yet been born, and had already been chosen as heir of Abraham without doing any good or evil.

From the vision of human life, it may be said that the heir means being chosen as a chieftain who leads the history of tribe with God in the work of God's salvation. But in God's vision, to be heir means to be God's heavenly people.

Ishmael was a Abraham's eldest son, but he was dismissed by Sarah for harassing Isaac.

Isaac was not determined to be Abraham's heir because of his excellent personal abilities, such as wisdom and talent. Because Isaac's mother was Sarah who got the promise from God. In contrast, Ishmael did not become an heir even though he was Abraham's firstborn because his mother was not free Sarah. Isaac was unconditionally determined to be Abraham's heir before he was born because of the children of the free Sarah.

The difference between the two mothers is crucial because they are half-brothers who have the same father.

Genesis 21:9-12

But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking, 10and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”

11The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. 12But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you.

Abraham eventually sends Ishmael out of his house.  In the results Ishmael and his descendants were left out of the work of God's salvation.

Therefore, the apostle Paul told that the saints to be saved are children of the same promise like Isaac. Because the saints to be saved are children of Heavenly Jerusalem represented as Sarah. This is the children of the heavenly Jerusalem are those who inherit the inheritance of heaven. It is the people of salvation.

Galatians 4:31 “So brothers, we are not children of the slave servant, but of the free woman”

Paul is saying that because Isaac was a Sarah's child, he could inherit Abraham's inheritance. So we must be children of the free woman, Sarah, who has a new covenant, to receive the inheritance of God.

When you become a children of God, you can call your God as the Father and God the Mother instead of the lord. If you want to be children of promise, like Isaac, come to Jerusalem mother.

  1. We are the children of the free woman that is God the Mother, not slave woman. So we can inherit the kingdom of heaven as the children of promise, like Issac. We, the children of God, have God the Mother as well as God the Father.
