Baptism, The Sign of Salvation!


 What is the first step to be saved? According to the Bible, we have to be baptized first.
 Mt 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Jesus said, "baptize them, teach them to obey". What's the meaning of baptism?
1 Pe 3:21 this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
 Baptism is sign of salvation. It is like a ticket to go to heaven. To receive salvation, we have to receive baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit through Mt 28:19. The name of the Father is Jehovah and the name of the Son is Jesus.

  Then what is the name of the Holy Spirit? The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit has His name. Therefore, we should know the name of Holy Spirit. 
Rev 3:12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.
Here, "my new name" means Jesus' new name. According to the Trinity, Jesus is the Holy Spirit. So, Jesus' new name is Holy Spirit's name. Without knowing Holy Spirit's name, we cannot receive baptism, after all, we cannot have salvation.
Mk 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Those who believe and are baptized will go to the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, we have to believe in Holy Spirit's name through the Bible and receive baptism.

    I give thanks to Heavenly Father and Mother for calling me to the Church of God and giving me the blessings of the forgiveness of sins and salvation and remind myself again of the meaning of the baptism I underwent.

    To know the new name of Jesus is very important! The church of God give baptism in three names. Let us go there and recieve God's salvation!
