A secret contained in Solomon's trial

Solomon is the king of Israel, famous for his wisdom.

Solomon's wisdom was so great that the queen of distant country visited Israel in person to learn Solomon's wisdom.

Solomon ruled Israel well with his wisdom from God.
But among Solomon's numerous trials, there is only one trial story written in the Bible.
It is a trial to find the true mother of a baby.

The story is as follows.

Solomon's trial_Two women

1 Kings 3:16~18 Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. 
One of them said, "My lord, this woman and I live in the same house. I had a baby while she was there with me. The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby... 

Solomon's trial_The truth

1 Kings 3:19~22 During the night this woman's son died because she lay on him. 
So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. 
She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast. 
  The next morning, I got up to nurse my son--and he was dead! But when I looked at him closely in the morning light, 
I saw that it wasn't the son I had borne." 
The other woman said, "No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours."... 
And so they argued before the king. 

Solomon's trial_Solomon's order

1 Kings 3:24~26 Then the king said, "Bring me a sword...Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other." The woman whose son was alive was filled with compassion for her son and said to the king, "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don't kill him!" But the other said, "Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!" 


1 Kings 3:27 Then the king gave his ruling: "Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother."

How did Solomon find the baby's true mother?

He was able to find the true mother of the baby through her mother's nature, who valued the life of the baby more than she did.

Then, why did the Bible record this case among countless trials?


2 Timothy 3:11 And how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.


Therefore, the trial of Solomon above is also written by God for our salvation.
The Bible tells us that there is a spiritual mother who saves our lives, just as there is a physical mother who cherishes her children's lives.


2 Galatians 4:26~28 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...
Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.


And the Bible said that Heavenly Mother would come to save her dying children and give them water of life.


Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.


When we come to our mother, we can get eternal life

Isn't the reason why God recorded Solomon's trial in the Bible to make us realize the existence of the heavenly mother who loves us through this anecdote, to find our true mother and to have eternal life?

    God gives us various evidences to find out God the Mother as Solomon's trial in the Bible. When we believe in God the Mother, we can get eternal life from Her.

The Secret of the Lord's Prayer

There is a very important secret in the Lord's Prayer. Christians have called God 'Our Father in heaven' for 2,000 years. Mt 6:9 "This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven..."
